United States F-Class Open Rifle Team
Logo and World Championship Program
*NOTE* This project does not reflect any political or personal opinions of my own. Straight and to the point, I do not have any interest in shooting – the President of the company I worked for was the Team Captain at the time and this project was directed towards me in the same manner as any other project.
Held at Raton, New Mexico in late August of 2013, The World Championship for F-Class Open Rifle Competitive Shooting was hosted by the United States F-Class Open Rifle Team. This logo was created for the US Team specifically. It was embroidered on patches and gun cases, printed on tent canopies for the event, and was minted as a 6″ wide metal diecut coin memento to be handed out to team members.
This program was printed with with a UV flood gloss for the front and back covers as well as a 3-level embossing on the front. The cover artwork was originally submitted solely as concept art, but the Captain of the team liked it right away and didn’t want to make any changes.
My involvement in this project was to digitally paint and design all cover art, layout and design the entire catalog including two full-page advertisements as well as one-quarter page, all while working closely with the Team Captain for any revisions and approval.
